Prompt: Disney Imaginations college competition- design a new experience for the Disney Theme Parks
Insight: While Disney Villains are popular with fans, their naughty messaging makes them less appropriate for the main parks and family-friendly branding.
Solution: Model an escape from Disney cuteness in an adults-only speak-easy lounge to leverage the villain's underutilized brand. Incorporating an introductory story of "villaibition", customers are snuck through a fake front "Virgil & Elaine's" into a magical and indulgent and sophisticated restaurant and jazz club. Selected as one of three finalist teams to present to executives at WDI headquarters in Glendale, CA.
